Crepes for Change

Crepes for Change

Crepes for Change is Australia's first non-profit food truck: serving artisan French crepes to the masses with all profits going towards youth homelessness in Australia. Operating since 2015, we have generated nearly $300,000 in revenue in selling our crepes - that's more than 35,000 crepes sold in under two years! This money has gone to a variety of sources, such as Launch Housing - with whom we set up our own program that enables young people to transition out of homelessness and into their own independent housing. So far, 2 young people have found housing through our program, with another 10 to be expected to follow this year. We also employ and train a range of young people who live in the Launch Housing youth foyers. They're amazing youngsters and it's a real privilege to work with them, really!

But importantly, we never compromise on the quality of our product. We have put a lot of work into crafting our recipes and menu, and we think you can tell! From our traditional batter recipe from France to our home-made salted caramel, we're always trying to serve the best crepes we can, and we can't wait to bring them back to the Coburg Night Market again.
